Railroad Festival

The 5th annual Fostoria Railroad Festival will be held
Saturday, October 14 from 10 am to 4 pm in downtown Fostoria.
Saturday's events will include a soup cook-off; historic train
information; games for the
kids; Lens-Eye View Photo Contest; Train Swap Meet; showing of
"Polar Express" movie; and Operation Safety
demonstrations and more.

Rails Car and Bike Show
Train
Swap Meet will take place during the festival at the
former Crafty Corner, 210 S. Main Street, and in downtown
buildings. The
Swap Meet will allow train enthusiasts to buy and sell
memorabilia and items of interest.
The Lens-Eye View Photo Contest multiple photos may be submitted.
A panel of professional photographers
will do the judging. Photo Contest winners will be announced at the Festival.
5th
Annual Soup Cook-off will be held this year. Be sure to
join us and sample the area's best soups.
The 2006 Railroad Festival will hold a Farmer's Market
on the Municipal Building lawn.
